Mr. Jones, born in 1954 is a 1977 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge earning the distinction of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Mr. Jones' experience in handling claims exceeds 40 years. Mr. Jones is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Central Claims, LLC. He was first employed at Central Claims Service Inc. in 1985 as Claims Manager/Vice President at which time his father, the late James Jones, was President. Upon his father's death in 1992 Mr. Jones became the President. His prior experience includes working for Pat Brown Claims Service as a Property Adjuster while obtaining his college education (1972-1977). For the next nine years (1977-1985) he worked for State Farm Fire and Casualty Company first as a Field Claims Specialist (1977-1979) and then as a Regional Field Claim Specialist and Special Disaster Supervisor. Mr. Jones is acknowledged as a specialist in major Commercial Losses, Arson Investigation as well as Homeowners, Use and Occupancy, Business Interruptions, Inland Marine, and General Liability. Mr. Jones has been qualified in the Parishes of Orleans and Jefferson as an expert in origin, causation and value assessment of damages to property. He is well versed in Property, Casualty, General Liability and Workers' Compensation. Mr. Jones is able to offer assistance in risk identification, risk reduction, risk transfer and/or risk assumption. His experience allows him to use the fundamentals of risk management and assist the client in exercising control over their exposure to loss.
